Privacy Policy

PriceMirror ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Shop information: shop domain, OAuth access token (encrypted at rest in production), app settings you configure.
• Discount data: derived pricing from your Shopify automatic discounts — stored in our database and product metafields for storefront display.
• Billing status: subscription plan name and status via Shopify Billing API (we do not store payment card data).

Data we do not collect

• Customer names, emails, or addresses
• Order history or checkout data
• Discount codes entered at checkout

How we use data

Data is used solely to operate the App: sync discount pricing to your storefront, render admin settings, and manage billing. We do not sell or share merchant data with third parties for marketing.

Data retention & deletion

When you uninstall the App, we mark your shop as uninstalled and delete OAuth sessions. Shopify sends a shop/redact webhook within 48 hours; we then permanently delete all shop data, settings, and cached discount data from our database.

GDPR

We implement Shopify mandatory GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). The App does not store customer PII; customer data requests typically return empty results.
